Statewide Medicaid program combining medical care with home- and community-based supports similar to iBudget, delivered through FCC with a dedicated case manager. Formerly the IDD pilot; expanded statewide.

July 1, 2026 expansion

As of July 1, 2026, individuals already enrolled in the iBudget Developmental Disabilities Waiver or the SMMC Long-Term Care program who meet base criteria may transfer enrollment into the ICMC Program.

Eligibility

  1. Reside in Florida and are Medicaid eligible
  2. 18 years of age or older
  3. Have a developmental disability as defined in s. 393.063, F.S.
  4. Are in any pre-enrollment category for iBudget waiver services — or, as of July 1, 2026, may transfer from iBudget or LTC if criteria are met

Participant Direction Option (PDO)

  • Participant Direction Option (PDO) lets members hire, train, schedule, and supervise direct service workers (including family when allowed)
  • The plan and Fiscal/Employer Agent handle payroll — not this app
  • Family caregivers may earn income for care already provided under PDO rules

What families often value

  • Personal case manager (face-to-face contact)
  • Continuity of care protections during transition
  • Plan extras may include gym membership, grocery support, summer camp funding (confirm with case manager)
