Privacy
CDC+ Connect is designed for service matching with privacy controls. We ask you not to upload medical records, full Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or clinical diagnoses free-text.
What we store (when connected)
- Account identity via Clerk (email, name, image)
- Profile fields you choose (county, care tags, availability, bio)
- Job posts, interests, and messages you send
- Privacy mode: public, match-only, or private
Cookies & preferences
- Necessary: cookie consent choice (
ds_consent) - Functional: theme preference (
cdc-connect-theme) when you allow functional cookies - Analytics: anonymous session ids for first-party product metrics only after you accept analytics
Use the cookie banner or footer control to accept, reject, or customize. We do not load Google Analytics by default.
First-party analytics
If you consent to analytics, page views and product events (for example job post started) may be stored in our database for operators. IP addresses are hashed; user-agent is reduced to a browser family. Collect is blocked without consent.
Your controls
- Adjust visibility under Settings → Privacy
- Request account deactivation (soft-delete) when auth is enabled
- Local-only tools (checklist, EBU) stay in your browser until you clear storage
- Change cookie preferences anytime via the footer or this notice
This page is a product privacy notice, not legal advice. Update with counsel before production launch.
